Although the Paralympic and Olympic 2020 games have been postponed, as well as all live Pride events, it is vital we continue having a dialogue about reaching higher levels of empowerment through acceptance, empowerment, promotion and celebration of diversities within the athletic, sports and parasports environments.
The panel will be kicking off ParaPride’s series of live events for Pride Inside and will be formed by one host and three guests all of whom are involved in adaptive and non-adaptive sports, representatives of different parts of the LGBTQ community and with different abilities. Here are the confirmed names:
Robbie De Santos; Director of Sport, Stonewall – Host/Moderator
Jo Horton; former Olympian, first amputee Judo teacher UK.
Michael Gunning British and Jamaican Olympic Swimmer/athlete
Lizzie Williams – British athlete competing internationally as a wheelchair racer
