SignVideo.
We are a Video Relay Services and Video Remote Interpreting provider in the UK. We provide British Sign Language (BSL) video interpreting services to enable communication between the community of over 150,000 deaf BSL users in the UK and hearing people. Our relay service allows users to make and receive BSL interpreted video calls so that they can effectively and effortlessly communicate with each other. This happens through a professional video interpreter who relays the call between BSL and English. This service is available instantly on tablets, smartphones, computers and laptops via apps and software. We are also a Video Remote Interpreting provider, offering BSL video interpretation on site, when two people are co-located.

Welcome to Signed Culture, the organisation which supports and promotes BSL access to the arts in the UK. We work with BSL users, arts and cultural organisations and BSL interpreters and Deaf presenters to help ensure that the cultural sector is as open and welcoming to Deaf people as it can possibly be.
Deaf and Hearing Ensemble.
is a professional Deaf and hearing led theatre company. We are actors, directors, theatre makers, writers, artists, musicians, dancers and all round lovely people who come together to create live performances. We use a mix of British Sign Language, Spoken English, creative captions, video projection, movement and soundscapes.
We formed in 2013 and consist of experienced freelance theatre practitioners.
As a company, we have worked with The Royal Shakespeare Studio, Forest Fringe, The Roundhouse, Pulse Festival, Shuffle Festival and LimeWharf. Most recently, we have collaborated with or performed at the Yard Theatre, Battersea Arts Centre, Northern Stage, Liberty Festival and the Barbican. Our commissions and awards include an outdoor performance for Liberty Festival and being one of two finalists for the Oxford Samuel Beckett Theatre Trust Award in 2016.
We believe in breaking down barriers and pre-conceived perceptions. We aim to create innovative performance exploring genuine, truthful interaction. All our work is fully accessible for D/deaf and hearing audiences.
NRCPD.
NRCPD exists to protect the public by regulating communication and language professionals who work with deaf and deafblind people.
We hold Registers of interpreters for deafblind people, lipspeakers, notetakers, sign language interpreters, sign language translators and speech to text reporters.
We are currently a voluntary regulator, but we want communication and language professionals to be regulated by law. For more information, read our statement of regulatory intent.
NUBSLI
National Union of British Sign Language Interpreters, is part of Unite the union, the UK and Ireland’s largest union, who provide us with the structure needed to represent qualified BSL/English and Deaf interpreters/translators and those in training to become qualified collectively, working towards persuading the government and other providers to recognise appropriate qualifications, skills, experience, pay, and terms and conditions.
